About BRAU:
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam was founded by Andhra Pradesh State Government. There is MS No.: 89 Higher Education (UE.II) Department of 25/06/2008 with the aim of expanding the educational facilities in the Srikakulam district and the educational needs of the people of the district. With G.O MS No.: 138 University degree (UE.II) of 28/07/2008, Prof. S.V. Sudhakar, Department of Social Work, Andhra University became the first vice-chancellor of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam and he took over the post of Vice-Chancellor of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam on the 28/07/2008.
